CDAC Placement

basically i am talking in term of common placement occur in pune .. in which company come for all CDAC centre in pune .. eg. CDAC ACTS Pune , Sunbeam Pune ,  Sunbeam karad , IASD , Know-IT


1 )  there is duration of nearly about 5 month's in which more than 200 or 300 company comes oncampus + offcampus . many are MNC you can see the list in CDAC websites it's true

2) package  the highest package is about 8 Lakh to 10 Lakh ..  as in previous batch NVIDIA gave 10 LPA for Divsd guys

Cumulus offer 6 Lpa
ZS  ---- 5 LPA
Symantec -- 8 Lpa

but they hired hardly near about 2 to 4 people only

3) in the first day the CDAC R&D came give 4 LPA .. the topper of the batch is most likely to placed there .

4) most of the company who visited on campus recruited  in a range of 3 to 12  . but few company e.g Cybage recruiters 60 to 80 student's but notice on the no of company visited for campus .


5) generally in starting of the campus good company comes .. after that there is company which also offer 1.8 LPA but sometimes .. e.g in previous batch some good company comes after few months e.g siemens come after 4 month and gave 5 LPA

6) what is the shortlisted criteria for the company ..

actually the ans of that question nobody .knew ..as many company shortlist on the basis of your academics or CPT marks (exam conducted after completion of the course in cdac ) some company wouldn't allow the person who has year gap while other's allow ..

7) how many call's we will get ??

basically i have seen people who have attended near about 40 company so .. you will get near about it.

8) some guys thought that the student from the CDAC ACTS is give preference .. then i wanted to tell you there is no way to identify from the side of company that you have belong to that college or not as new id card is given to you in which there is no sign of your institute .

generally the guys of CDAC ACTS Pune is ahead in placement (on campus first one month) then sunbeam pune guy's as they are more technically sound as compared to ACTS guy's

9) is experience matter .. ??

basically most of the company in campus is for fresher only . so even if you have experience then it's preferable to not show them (if it's non-technical .. tech-spt)


10 ) year Gap and less than 60 academics ??

Ya it is matter but it only make you to shortlist in less company if you shortlist then it doesn't matter.

11) what is the best thing to get place in common campus ?

first and most imp thing is your attitude because through which you can easily craked the first round

and there are hardly few company who don't even take apti they directly go for technical test

and Techincal knowledge .

12) i am already placment in MNC TCS or Infosys then i should join CDAC for other good mnc and higher package ?

ans in NO .. it could be for more good knowledge .

finally give attention of content not the grammar of the blog ..

Now Lets compare with the centres very closely as I'm very close to both the centres.

CDAC Acts is best just because of Madhura Mam. I mean she is heart of Acts guys. By the way sunbeam is good as they compel people to do hard work and teach to the depth. Even if a person is very lazy or too mischievous (like me  ), has to work hard. Acts guys are not forced as such.

But yes, people in acts are considered genius, and won't be given knowledge from root of the language.
Consider an example, CPP is taught to Acts guys as if the students were born "Denis Ritchie". In this respect Sunbeam guys have better base. On the other hand, those born genious consider this as "spoon feeding". 

Oracle is taught by beloved Asia Pacific Head Sameer Dehadrai Sir, who is the best. He used to teach Oracle in Acts too, earlier. But from the last 2 batches he don't.

As far as .Net is concerned, Sunbeam and Acts both have equivalent faculty.

Operating System is taken at kernel level both in Acts and Sunbeam.

AWT(Advanced Web-Tech [formerly FWT]) - is taken partially in Sunbeam and not at all good in Acts.

SE- Best now in Sunbeam as Dinesh Sir, takes it now there, and in Acts it used to be best as earlier Dinesh Sir was here.

Your score pretends that you are born "Denis Ritchie" or not or may not like too much guidence for study, I recommend GO FOR ACTS FOR DAC if you have 240-250 rank.

WHY NOT GO TO KP OR ECITY?

You will get placed, but you may not survive in IT as there competition is too much. Companies do keep firing people and take new people. Or most of times you get overloaded with work and may not be able to complete as you were genious and no body taught you deep.

result has been declared .. everybody wanted to knew the top 3 CDAC Institute then there is ans for DAC course

1 - CDAC ACTS pune
2 - Sunbeam Gultekdi pune
3 - Banglore kp

the above 3 is the among the best institute of CDAC and it's fill in same order in rank and also preferred by the student's this order is perfectly correct many write wrong order they thought it will easier to get that institute by make other's to get into other institute .

some suggestions

1 which centre is no 1 -- it is according to your requirement e.g of m.tech which one to follow (IISc Banglore or IIT )

CDAC ACTS - have preferred by student's have high rate of placement (on Campus ) but in off campus which is conducted after on campus (1 month) sunbeam guy are ahead

CDC acts guys are intelligent then sunbeam but sunbeam guys are hard worker .. as it's very hard to survive in sunbeam schedule is too hectic and there are other activity is involved which will change you and make you more tech and enhance your soft skill automatically because you can not escape such thing's that will help you at the time of interview . holiday forget about it hardly you will get 2 holiday in a month and 90 % attendance is compulsory .

I suggest if you are from EC background or want's deep knowledge or want's some good technical knowledge then prefer sunbeam over CDAC ACTS (in few cases students do it )

if your technically sound and in soft skill then go for CDAC ACTS you there your life is easy as compared to sunbeam . there you are not forced to do hard work .. and you placed earlier if your apti is good.

2 if someone have good academics and try to sit in more off-campus then he/she go for Bangalore . and it may be in top 3 because of it's location . and even don't bother to leave the course in between then you can attend many off-campus there.

3 all here (CDAC ) not for JOB there are student's who want's scholarship for higher studies in abroad (qualified in GRE) (as i saw many student who did CDAC only for knowledge and want scholarship as it' s accepted by many foreign university but it's very rare )

4 last time CDAC ACTS fill upto 400 Rank and sunbeam pune to 900 or 1000
and banglore may be upto 1500.

6 placements is centralised in city e.g Pune company come for all centre (within city ) they have get unique ID card so it's very difficult to distinguish between which student's are belong to which centre (officially )
